Things I LOVE...at the moment.

1. Sugar Free drink mix singles, Wyler's has Cherry Limeade and Pink Lemonade that taste far too good to be sugar free. Crystal Light & Snapple Diet are good too, but the Wyler's are my fave.

2. Tomatoes on the Vine. If I can't get home grown, these are second best. The closest thing to home grown.

3. Jennie-O Turkey Burgers. Add pepper and fry or grill....de-lish!

4. BBQ Chicken. The best possible way to have skinless, boneless chicken breast.

These are just four things I have grown to love over the past couple months. It's really strange being able to actually like healthy food.

Oh and...this guy.....

The "New" TV Predicament...

In February, we bought a new TV...we grew tired of replacing the bulb (see previous post located somewhere in 2011, yeah I'm lazy today). So, we take a trip to Best Buy....and come home with an RCA big screen thing. Yay for a new TV! April 2nd....this happened---

The first thing I thought was how much I hated technology. Everything breaks. But, I digress. I call Best Buy, and a lovely perky girl tells me to bring it back, they will exchange it. Yay! We take it back, and the underpaid customer "service" people tell me they can not work on RCA, I have to call the Geek Squad. *Sigh*. The next day, I call the Geek Squad who send out a company to repair it ...Yay, again. A couple days later a very handsome guy shows up, and tells me: "Yup it's broke". *Sigh* RCA will send me a new one, though. Back to Yay!

A week goes by...I call this repair company back...and I'm all sorts of not happy. They inform me that they have sent the request for replacement to RCA, now I just have to wait a while. Apparently RCA had a whole bunch of TV's with bad panels and I'll be waiting a month or so.

Last week I get a phone call (after me calling multiple times and leaving messages) saying that RCA will send me a box to ship the TV back to them, as soon as the TV is scanned into the UPS system, they will send me a new TV.

I'm still waiting for an empty box. *SIGHHHHHHHH*

What have I learned from this---I will never buy anything from Best Buy...I'll buy it from Wal-mart, that way they will just take the damn thing back and I won't have to wait for over 2 months (so far) to get a replacement.

~~Update 6/22/12~~ I now have an empty box.

I love my pool....

I've gone through a fair amount of pools over the last few years. Which may be why my husband gave me a very unhappy look when I told him I needed to buy a new one. *big cheesy grin*. I admit, I bought a pool every year for the past three years. I also admit it was all my fault that I bought new ones, instead of reusing the one I had.  But, let me explain...

First pool was a small Intex thing, It was a tiny little pool (compared to what I have now), and measured as the 8x30 size. Tiny, not even big enough for more than one person, but it worked because the girls swam in it, and my son swam in a little kid pool beside it. Then I moved up to a larger size, because my son wanted to swim with his sisters. We got a 10x30 (or maybe it was a 12x30) and it worked great for a while, until we left it outside on the ground all winter. Oops. Bought a new one the next year, this time we super-sized it, and bought a 15x36…oooooooo! It was like swimming in our own private lake…literally. I couldn’t keep the thing clean for anything, and then…it turned green. And it stayed green. I tried dumping it out and refilling, but because you can never get every drop of water out……yeah, blah. The kids refused to swim in it, so... I eventually gave up and took it down.

I took it down…without cleaning it. Oops again. So yeah, this year I had to buy a new one…a better one. One that does not aggravate me, and force me to patch the inflatable ring …every day because the local cats need a drink. Welcome the frame set pool........in the same giant size (although it is bigger, I swear). Brilliant pool....although it's a pain to assemble by yourself...lucky for me this is the type of pool that stays up year round.

Now, I kinda live in this pool. I could care less what I look like,...I am a mermaid, and I adore the water.

Found it !!!!

Ah Ha! It has taken a while but, I finally found my password to access this account again! Apparently, I had been using my school account, which gets me into my .edu e-mail, but it will not get me into my blog for nothing! I kept trying though, thinking the website was just down for maintenance or my Internet was being stupid. A couple days ago I was cleaning…I do that sometimes…and I found my tiny little book that hides all my passwords. Apparently this tiny book is really good at its job, ‘cause I had no clue where it was.
Anyhoo—it’s been a super busy summer so far. Mainly, I have been busy with school, and…life. Life is so very time consuming, with its annoying habit of not being easy…or predictable. School is going super well, classes are actually interesting now. I’ve finally moved beyond the ‘intro-classes’ and into the real stuff, so I have to actually pay attention and such.
I’ve also been spending (too much?) time in the pool, with the kids. I adore this pool (frame set) and will never buy one of those inflatable ring things again. This whole thing is a story for another post…perhaps tomorrow….
