The official name for this waver is "Alure Three Barrel Curling Iron Wand with LCD Temperature Display - 1 Inch Ceramic Tourmaline Triple Barrels, Dual Voltage Crimping Tool, Best Hair Waver for Beachy/Frizz Free Waves (Pink)". This was a bit long for me to use as a tag line, so I call it a Hair Wave, because that is what it is. This is not a curling iron, but rather a waving iron, that adds subtle waves to straight and/or fine hair.

This waver creates perfect 'beach waves' and can add some texture and body to flat hair. It works very simply - plug in and use.

A temperature display really is ideal for insuring you do not damage your hair! This waver shows the temperature in Celsius, which is interesting for me, as I am used to Fahrenheit; but it's nothing I can't Google, haha. Recommendations from the company state that temperature should be set for 170-210 degrees C, with the lower temps for those with thinner or finer hair and higher temps for course and hard to curl hair.

The waver is very simple to use, simple place hair in between the barrels, and allow the waver to heat your hair until it waves. It takes just a few seconds, then you can open the waver and keep waving. I do recommend a hair spray in order for the waves to stay longer than a couple hours, especially in hot and/or damp weather.

And now for some before and after photos!

Above is to show how the actual wave looks compared to completely straight hair. Below is an example of using the waver on real hair extentions, in various ways --holding the waver sideways, and even upside down (example on the left).

Great product for a fair price, this Alure waver wins hands down!
