Product Review: LomaLux Dandruff Pill

LomaLux Dandruff Pill

This is a clever idea, to me. Although I do not suffer from dandruff myself, I know many people do have problems with varying scalp issues. There are shampoos, creams, oils, lotions and other items available in almost every store. They tend to cost far too much - and rarely work.
Now there is an over-the-counter pill that can help relieve the symptoms of dandruff and other skin irritations of the scalp.

These pills, when taken over time, can improve flaking and the dry scalp scaling that occurs with dandruff, as well as reduce itching and redness of the scalp. Ingredients include 7 natural active mineral ingredients and is vegan, lactose free and gluten free.

This product does take a bit of time to show noticeable improvement. The cause of dandruff is a rapid turnover in skin cells that rise to the surface of the scalp and flake, this process takes at least 23 days. The makers of this Dandruff Pill suggest a 12 week course of treatment to see results. The dosage is based on weight, and the average 150 pound female would need to take 4 pills daily (according to the instructions on the bottle).

With that being said, I would suggest this is a good method to try for anyone who has battled dandruff and has found no relief in shampoos and other topical treatments. Another aspect to ponder- if the price of those shampoos and treatments exceeds the cost of a 12 week dosage of Dandruff Pills from LomaLux, then surely taking a few pills a day, for 12 weeks would be far more beneficial than constantly buying items that do not work.
