Product Review - Focus Hair Building Fibers

"A New Generation of Hair Building Fiber

New Focus Hair Building Fibers is a unique complex of pure keratin protein. Charged with static electricity, these microscopic fibers blend and bond securely with existing hair to produce dramatic density and volume and provide undetectable all-day coverage to thinning and balding areas.

Completely natural, safe and effective, Focus Hair Fibers will not fade, even under direct sunlight. Focus is compatible with all hair loss treatments and safe to use after hair transplants. Focus fibers can withstand rain, wind and sweat, and yet can be washed out easily with any shampoo. When your clients apply Focus to their scalp, they will see their thinning areas vanish before their eyes" Focus Website (Nov. 2013).

The Review

First...a note: I tried this on my daughters hair, since mine was too dark for the BLONDE color (I chose this color thinking it would be the closest match). The BLONDE powder is in fact too light for my daughters hair as well, and therefor the sample on her hair does not match at all. So, please keep that in mind as you read further....

The container is small, but the powder is SUPER fine...so this jar of 0.63 fl oz. will last ...forever. The Focus website posts this as its 52 day supply.

The 'fiber' is a super fine powder, weighing nothing...and could be blown off easily. The BLONDE shown here is super blonde...not just a regular blonde, but more of a light blonde/bleached blonde.

Application process is super easy - shake it on, rub your fingers through your hair, or 'pat down' and poof...done.

Obviously there is a color difference - which is my fault. As you can see, however -- the Focus Fibers do exactly as they promise! Filling in the gap at the hairs natural part, and even though it's a bit yellow (again, my fault), the part is less visible and the fibers have 'filled in' the gap!

Here's another picture of how the fibers 'cling' to hair....I thought it was kinda awesome!
