The Review

When I first find out I got to review this item, I was a bit excited. My mother in law uses a cane lately--due to her recent knee surgery; although I was skeptical if she would like this type of product or not. 

Let's face it--we all may need to use a cane at some point in our lives. Canes are fairly dull looking, unless you spend the big bucks and have a custom cane made (and how many of us would do that anyway? Pfft). So, Cane Expressions offers a way to make your basic cane a bit more stylish, with Cane Covers! 

I invite my mother in law over, and we try the cane cover. The first thing I noticed about this item is the material --it's kinda stretchy and the zebra print is pretty cute! 

   

Both ends have elastic, to 'hold' onto the cane. 

I took the can apart (yes, it comes apart) and slipped on the cover. The cover slides over easy, and even covered the latch (where the two pieces connect). And here we have the cover on my mother in laws cane!

We both decided this is a clever idea! She has a few friends which also have canes, and is frequently at the nursing home, where many people there also have canes. By having a cover --you can tell for sure which one is yours!! 

The cover adds a sense of uniqueness, personality and style to something that is typically ugly that we don't generally want to have to use. 

Even better -- there are tons of different patterns and styles! Including sparkly ones, and beaded ones!
